Operis is a leading advisor in project finance and globally renowned for its expertise in financial modelling. The firm offers complementary services across advisory, model audits, training and unique software.
Motel were recommended to Operis as a creative partner for the design of a physical printed corporate brochure, working as a handout and leave-behind for senior leaders at introductory events and meetings.
Operis' new corporate brochure needed to capture the service offerings together with an overview of the team, company performance, history and a detailed outline of past project experience.
Before commencing on the design of the brochure we commissioned new photography of the leadership team and candid shots of staff at work. A suite of bespoke icons were also created to represent Operis services, sectors and brand values.
The brochure design itself utilised the existing corporate colours but we approached this with a fresh perspective and new colour hierarchy together with a suggested new typeface to create a modern design look and feel.
We printed the brochure cover on an uncoated stock with the ‘O’ of Operis printed in metallic purple ink, producing a rich visual contrast to create impact and represent the sophistication and quality of work that Operis deliver – as well as leaving a lasting impression for the recipient. A matching bespoke envelope was designed and produced to house and protect the brochure and add to the reveal experience of the brochure.
We have subsequently continued to develop branded communications including corporate stationery and a complete redesign of Operis' client facing website to create a modern digital experience for potential clients. The visual brief for the website was to aligning the Operis digital presence around the corporate brochure look and feel. We developed an immersive, full-width, responsive, fresh and contemporary layout with considered use of white space and large, people-orientated photography. A bespoke UX-led service navigation was devised to ensure the user journey is focused around the Operis service offerings and points of differentiation.
We have applied our design thinking and guidelines across a range of applications and continue to support advising with strategy-led design. This has in turn led to the evolution of the Operis brand with a refreshed, contemporary and professional look and feel that distinguishes them from their competition.
